Hi! I’m Mitra.

Based in Asheville, North Carolina, I’m a 47-year-old fitness and nutrition coach with a deep passion for movement, health, and feeling strong and confident in my body. With over 9 years of experience working with clients of all ages, I specialize in helping individuals navigate the unique challenges that come with aging while achieving lasting results.

I am a:

  • Certified Functional Strength Coach (MBSC)
  • NCI Level 1 Nutrition Coach
  • Former AFAA Certified Personal Trainer (6 years)
  • Completed the N1 Biomechanics & Execution Practical

Physical activity has always been a cornerstone of my life, from soccer to tennis, swimming and running. But as I’ve entered perimenopause, I’ve learned firsthand what worked in the past no longer serves me. I’ve adapted my training, intensity, recovery, and nutrition to better support my evolving body, and I’m here to help you do the same.

Whether you’re male or female, aging requires ongoing adjustments in every area of life—from fitness and nutrition to sleep, social connections, and stress management. My goal is to work with you to empower you to live a purposeful, balanced, and fulfilling life.

I take pride in offering a personalized, holistic approach to fitness and nutrition, working with a diverse range of clients. Whether you’re just beginning your fitness journey or you’re an experienced athlete, we’ll identify the tools and strategies that are right for YOU.

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients who:

  • Range in age from 25 to 85 years old
  • Are navigating the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause
  • Are recovering from major surgeries, including knee and shoulder surgeries, with as little as 5 weeks of post-surgery recovery
  • Are using GLP-1 weight loss medications, requiring specialized training and nutrition adjustments based on how the medication impacts their body
  • Are complete beginners or advanced athletes
  • Are managing chronic pain from injuries, including back, knee, and shoulder pain, with many finding significant relief or complete resolution through tailored fitness programs
